Curitiba é uma das cidades escolhidas pelo governo federal para testar o uso de “drogômetros” em blitze de trânsito. O anúncio foi feito nesta segunda-feira (24) pelo secretário nacional de Políticas Sobre Drogas do Ministério da Justiça, Luiz Roberto Beggiora, durante a abertura da Semana Municipal de Prevenção ao Uso de Drogas, no Salão de Atos do Parque Barigui. O projeto-piloto ainda depende de testes dos equipamentos, similares aos bafômetros, que detectam em poucos segundos a utilização de substâncias ilícitas, como maconha, crack, cocaína e ecstasy no organismo do motorista. De acordo com Beggiora, já houve testes em Porto Alegre.
Além das capitais paranaense e gaúcha, o equipamento deverá ser testado em outras três cidades a ser definidas pela secretaria nacional. “Temos como meta o prazo de aproximadamente um ano para a implantação”, afirmou o secretário.
O secretário municipal da Defesa Social e Trânsito, Guilherme Rangel, explica que o teste será feito com apenas 1ml da saliva do condutor. Segundo ele, a proibição de uso de drogas ilícitas por condutores é prevista no Código de Trânsito Brasileiro. “A lei seca diz respeito ao uso dessas substâncias também, não apenas de álcool”, afirma Rangel. A Semana de Prevenção é organizada pelo Departamento Municipal de Políticas Sobre Drogas e continua até sábado (29).
