Por apenas dois votos de diferença, a chapa Foco na Indústria Fiep para os sindicatos, de situação, venceu a eleição para a nova diretoria da Federação das Indústrias do Paraná (Fiep), realizada nesta quarta-feira (14), das 12h às 18h, em Curitiba. O novo presidente do Sistema Fiep a partir de 1º de outubro, será Carlos Valter Martins Pedro, presidente do Sindimetal de Maringá. Ele teve o apoio do atual presidente, Edson Campagnolo, eleito em 2011, que deixará o cargo após dois mandatos consecutivos. O resultado foi anunciado pouco depois das 19 horas pelo procurador do Ministério Público do Trabalho no Paraná, Ricardo Bruel da Silveira, que presidiu a mesa apuradora.
O candidato de oposição era o empresário José Eugênio de Bueno Gizzi, de Curitiba, ex-presidente do Sinduscon-PR e um dos vices da atual gestão. Ele disputou a eleição pela chapa Sindicato Forte Fiep Maior. Durante a apuração dos votos – dos 99 sindicatos filiados, 96 estavam aptos a votar – o clima ficou tenso entre representantes das duas chapas. Nesta quinta-feira, a atual diretoria comemora os 75 anos da Fiep em clima de vitória.
